Sisters’ Market.
Ok- my life is so mad that this is the first chance I’ve had to relay how the Sister’s Market went (almost 10 days after the fact). It’s been hard to keep on top of things with the wee one being settled into what I am from now on going to refer to as “Baby kinder” to help alleviate some mummy guilt. Settling him in and trying to find bits of my house under mounds of washing (both clean and dirty) have become consuming tasks, never mind a little thing called THE SHOP!
So here is the story of Sisters’ Market in pictures (it was fab, come and visit me in June!)

Let’s start with the day before- Elliott helped me get organised. Good boy!

A small selection.

Delicious Fat Quarters, waiting to be snapped up. And they’re fat free!

Handmade birdie brooches by Pia Handmade.

Handsome hanks of hand dyed knitting yarn made by USA girl, Knitty Dirty Girl.

Hand finished, oiled and painted (sustainable) Tassie oak knitting needles.

Hand knitted baby booties (made by my mum!)

Birdie key chains. Hand made by me!

An enticing selection of our goodies on display.

More boo-tee.

A small selection of our ace craft books. And some teeny weeny cheeky matryoshkas peeking out too.
A fun day was had by all.

Craft Relief- Donations Delivered.
Last weekend the whole family drove up to Whittlesea to deliver the wonderful donations from Craft Relief. The Salvation Army have a huge tent set up at the showgrounds where they are accepting material donations.
Whittlesea is about a 5 minute drive from Kinglake West. At the centre, once registered, you can go and acquire the things you need to get your life back together. It was the perfect place for us to drop our goodies!
The wonderful volunteers at the Salvos were so appreciative of all of your creative hard work that they assured me they would keep them at the centre to hand out as needed, directly to the people who need them the most.
I think you guys are the best! Thanks again from the bottom of my heart.

Saving the best for last.
Here are the last few donations to blog about.
I just want to thank everyone who has sent something in- I am touched by the enoromous generosity of the wonderful people who visit my shop and read the blog. You guys are the best!
The vouchers have gone out by either email or post (if I don’t have your email address). So if you are receiving yours by mail, expect them in the next day or two. We’ll send out a newsletter and a blog in the next week when we deliver the goodies.

*** Edited: Just added the last two pics- they’re of a gorgeous handmade quilt I received from Lyn in W.A. Amazing handwork. An incredibly generous donation. Thank you.

First donations.
We have already received our first donations for Craft Relief. Thank you so much to Rosalinda and Trish for the beautiful mink-y bunny rug and the oh so sweet crochet softie. There’s also my second “Ruby” dolly pushing her way into the frame.

Thank you ladies.
